Our church started from a handful of Lutherans who wanted to worship together and put down roots in their community. Today those roots have grown deep in a number of ways, we encourage education at all ages, multiple generations continue to worship here, and our ministries focus on helping our neighbors. Messiah is a place to grow in your understanding of our Lord, worship with other Christian people, and serve your community.
The mission of Messiah Lutheran Church is to Draw in to Christ…Build up in Christ…and Send out for Christ. Messiah Lutheran School, a K-8 elementary school, strives to facilitate student’s growth in knowledge, wisdom, ability as well as in body, spirit, and relationships. The school has earned a strong reputation for being trailblazers and people of character. Worship is fundamental to our Church life, it is more enriching and powerful to pray in a community surrounded by others. We speak, discuss, and study the word of God together to grow as one. We offer weekly worship, group prayer, and Bible studies to strengthen your knowledge of Christ. A major part in Messiah’s mission is to serve our Lord. Helping your neighbor and lending a hand is how communities grow. At Messiah, we work closely established ministries as well as foster new ones. We use the strengths within our congregation to benefit Messiah as a whole.
