WELCOME BACK TO IN-PERSON WORSHIP

Members and Friends of Messiah—

We are delighted to announce that our church will reopen for services on June 21. We will offer two communion liturgies that morning, one at 8:30 and the other at 10:00. For safety’s sake—the virus is still with us—attendance at each is limited to 50 people.

Our reopening team has developed a detailed safety plan for our time together, from the moment we arrive to the moment we leave. If you plan to attend, please read it carefully. You’ll find it posted below. And out of love for the Lord and each other, please follow it carefully too.

We know that many of you are not ready to return to church. We respect and honor that. Be assured that a service will continue to be livestreamed every Sunday so that you can participate that way.

Finally, we underscore that June 21st will be a first step along a lengthy path to a full reopening. We will adjust plans as we go, praying for that day when all of us can be together, enjoying the gift of Christ in Word and Sacrament. God keep us all in his care and grace!
